Yeah, I know - I need to work on making the site more aesthetically pleasing... ;) It's coming, but I want to spend more time on the actual software first...
As for how the site is generated, it is built using blosxom, with particular reliance on the Markdown plugin...
BTW - don't blame Moritz for the site - it's all my fault... ;)

I anticipate that xrBackup will be in beta by mid to late April. As of this writing, a bare-bones full backup routine has been implemented, and works, but information about the backup is not stored.
Before xrBackup reaches beta, all of the backup types will be implemented, and the backups will be saved as a file package that includes some meta-data. Currently they are saved simply as a disk image.
Until xrBackup is complete, you may certainly use the perl script to perform backups.... ( That's what I'm doing... :)
